Asian Logistics Forum took place in Wrocław

Nearly 150 participants representing logistics companies, politicians, Asian countries, government, and business support organizations participated in the Asian Logistics Forum, held in Wrocław.

During the Forum, discussions focused on various aspects of Polish-Asian cooperation in logistics. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Shein logistics facility in Kąty Wrocławskie, one of the most modern centers of its kind in Europe.

Bartosz Komasa, President of the Asian Forum – Employers’ Association, welcomed the guests.

Filip Grzelak, Co-owner and Member of the Management Board of Hatrans Logistics, the Event Partner, introduced the participants to the importance of the logistics market in Poland.

The discussion on the importance of institutions and infrastructure in cooperation with Asian countries using the emphasized Poland’s role as a logistics gateway between Europe and Asia, as well as the impact of EU trade policy and free trade agreements with Asian countries.

The importance of diplomatic, institutional, and scientific cooperation in the development of trade was also highlighted. Attention was drawn to the need to create business-friendly regulations so that Poland maintains its current competitiveness vis-à-vis Western countries.

The discussion was moderated by Bartosz Komasa (Asian Forum)

In the discussion on the role of companies and technologies in cooperation with Asian partners, the intensive development of the warehousing and logistics market in Poland and investments by international logistics operators were highlighted. According to the panelists, Poland still has many opportunities in this area.

Poland’s importance for e-commerce distribution in Europe was emphasized, and the increasingly widespread implementation of new technologies in logistics and warehousing were highlighted. Another important aspect of Polish-Asian cooperation is the acquisition of new knowledge by Polish workers, which increases their competences and value in the European labor market.
